Activating Accor + (or any Accor) offers
I am not sure of the correct forum as, for about the last six months I have been unable to activate any Accor offer. I receive emails telling me to do this, but clicking on 'activate this offer' yields no response. Refreshing the page presents the 'active this offer' again, but still with no response. I couldn't do this with a 500 bonus points for staying at a Pullman a couple of weeks ago, and now I can't activate the double points for stays of 2 nights and 3x points for booking at the Accor + special rate. It doesn't work on my desktop (I have tried three browsers), it doesn't work on my iPad and it doesn't work on the app. I have telephoned the Platinum customer service line and they can do nothing. Understandably, they can't activate website offers. It is clearly a website problem, but all the very understanding (of my frustration) customer service agent could say was that I should hope a senior member of staff listens to the recording our our conversation! I doubt they listen to any, unless the agent complains about the rudeness of a customer?
I did say that I like the accor product but if I can't access special offers, why should I bother continuing with them? The fact is, of course, that I do save money with the Accor + (formerly Voyageur) card and I do stay between 80 and 100 nights a year.
I have asked a friend in the same position to try registering for the same offer, but he also has no success with any desktop browser, or on an iPad or the app.
Is there a lurker who can raise this. Otherwise how on earth do you communicate with accor?
