You forgot giardia. It takes a few days to really catch on, but then it more than makes up for lost time.

I have had giardia twice and both times it hit me in the night following lunch and although I felt fine the next day it did not clear but apart from the passing of foul wind for several weeks did not affect me but my GP had me filling in forms and gave me something to cure it when I got back to the UK
