Indeed so close but I can't justify spending more than a thousand pounds to retain GGL. And besides, I really don't want another long haul flight this month.

I was hoping to get there on my current RTW ticket in A class but I got a paltry 480 points each for two business class flights on Qantas (CBR-PER-SIN).

This is just not worth the stress. I already have enough of that in my life without BA adding to it.
