The 2 properties that most remind me of here are Eriro and Tambo del Inka; while both are excellent in their own right, I slightly prefer Ventana for its superior tranquility and (IMO) natural beauty.
I agree, but I think a lot of posters in this thread don't feel the same magic about Big Sur as you or I do. They are treating this just as a hotel in some half-decent place, whereas I see Big Sur as one of the top places in the world I would like to just...exist in.
