I was extremely lucky to be on one of the last flights that wasn’t asked to return back to DOH (QR 920 to AKL) when the attack started, and as much as I am trying not ruin my holiday and think about the journey back home in few weeks, I have to prepare some contingency plans.

I have a redemption booking through BA (SYD to DOH in F, DOH to CDG in J).

Reading the last rebooking advisory I am trying to figure out what my options are if QR doesn’t reinstate operations.

None of the airlines on the list either flies to SYD or has a first class cabin (apart from Etihad, which I assume would be in the same position as QR, so unlikely an option).

Does any one know what happens if the booking is in mix classes (F and J in my case)? Should I be mentally prepared for a downgrade and be rebooked in J or even Y? What is the likelihood of being rebooked to SIN, and then F to CDG? The BA flights is not available on or around my dates.
