That picture is of the last row on the upper deck, 88A&C. which I think are the only bad seats in the UD because you get light and noise from the bathroom. 86 does have extra room, and if you have the window, it is easier to get out if the person on the aisle is reclined. Personally I like any window seat on the upper deck as I like the lockers. Service upstairs I have found to be consistently good. Downstairs on the LAX route I have found it to be spotty.

There is a thread regarding which LAX flight to take and some interesting theories, so be sure to search for that (The older threads don't seem to be showing up right now?) basically of the two night flights leaving LAX, always take the later one - # 881. It is less likely to require fuel stop during the winter headwinds...
