I've got basic, off the shelf insurance through my bank. That covers me if FCDO advice changes before I travel, which is what Flarmip was referring to earlier. The policy states "The reason given must be terrorism, coups, political unrest, or natural disaster, but not communicable disease . This must happen in the 28 days before you leave for your trip".
