It depends partly on your situation. Do you have to fly early next week to MEL? What's the consequence if you arrive late, or don't arrive at all?
Depending on when the situation is resolved, you should eventually be able to fly if you can delay your trip.
If you can't delay then you're probably looking at a refund of fees and points unless Qatar start to reroute onto other airlines (as they're supposed to to comply with EU261/UK261) - but if you are rebooked or rerouted it should be in the original class UNLESS you accept a downgrade due to lack of J capacity and a need to get there by a specific time/date.
