Just another confirmatory DP on extending FNCs. I wanted to stay a couple of nights in Manhattan before a cruise departed, so my dates were fixed. Since I had an FNC and points for two more nights, I got excited about staying at the newly reopened Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan. I booked my two nights on points ahead of the cruise and wanted to use my FNC to extend the stay starting a day earlier. Unfortunately, my FNC expired a few days too early. I called Hilton, and explained what I wanted, and it only took a few minutes for them to give me the extension and book my room! This was so exciting I’m thinking of doing $15K spend on my Surpass card to get a second FNC.
