Following — also very interested in recent DPs. I’m currently debating Fairmont vs Sofitel (a little bit less expensive) . Fairmont hard product looks great, but I share the concerns about service consistency. I’m Platinum, so I would have lounge access at the Sofitel, which helps offset the lack of breakfast — but the location seems worse for my needs.

Any recent feedback on service levels and elite recognition at either property would be much appreciated.
