I wouldn't be surprised if that's exactly what happens heading into the 2030s when the 763s are retired and the 788s receive a Polaris 2.0 upgrade. Lower deck pallet capacity is very similar between both aircraft. I could certainly envision the 788s transitioning to a high-J configuration given the already small sub-fleet size of this variant.
