I rode on a NEXTified A319 today (N831UA), and the new bins make a world of difference! All 12 pax were able to put all of their roll-aboards above, and the four of us in the bulkhead could put our personal items up too. The old A319 bin space was much too small to meet the needs of the 12 pax, the safety equipment, and oftentimes crew bags.
