High value redemption isn't impossible, just incredibly difficult.

Scored 2 tickets last year to Singapore in SQ J (JFK-SIN, SIN-FUK-TPE/SIN-FRA-JFK) for about 200k points that would have cost over us about 20k in cash.

Looking at some redemption with priority awards in premium cabins, the valuation on AC metals isn't too terrible if they are 50% off....


I was looking at a Dyson vacuum cleaner the other day, the redemption value on a V16 is actually better than AC's dynamically price tickets, lol.
