I personally enjoyed the hard product on my XLR flight recently, but a warning on service for the time being: it's going to take awhile.
My crew was very friendly and worked hard, but it was their first time on the XLR and it was amazing how long meal service took (like 2 hours, start to finish). Probably the longest meal service I have ever encountered in J on AA, domestic or international. One of the Y FAs came up after PE and Y service was done (including collection of PE trays and Y trash), and was shocked service was still going on- he was great and lent them a hand.
