I have a similar head scratching exercise, needing 33000nTPs to requalify. A couple of years ago, leaving things very late was the worst thing you could do for economical TP earning, but now it's the best. How things change.

But on the other hand the cost would be a significant chunk of what it costs to fly to the South Pole, which seems a bit more interesting somehow. So probably I'll do that instead.
