Finnair's new music is supposed to premiere tomorrow, but it's already on YouTube. Social media posts mention that it will be played at airports and lounges; however, track 12, 'Matkanteija' sounds like typical boarding music. In my opinion, it's very nice but a bit too generic, as it isn't distinguishable from other airlines anymore. What do you think?
Actually there is a
press release where new music can be downloaded and it indeed is a new boarning music as it states:
The Matkantekijä ensemble, composed by Lauri Porra, consists of the main work and several shorter pieces, and includes, among other things, new boarding music for Finnair flights. The new music will become part of the entire customer journey, from marketing to customer service.
