I'd like to book an FHR stay later this year, using the Plat credit - but I'd like to offset some of the cost with points. (I know, not a great use of them - but it makes sense for us.) I'm wondering what would happen if we had to cancel. I know the FHR credit would come back if we canceled, but what would happen with the points? I wouldn't mind cashing out at 1cpp (as it would w FHR) but I wouldn't like to get less than that.
