This has been in the works for a few years now… check-in and TSA for almost all non-United international flights being consolidated at the new Terminal E departure hall.

I believe E gates will remain exclusively for United, and D gates remain for non-United international departures.

For TSA, it’s a much bigger area with 17 lanes and curbside drop off at E has a lot more space and lanes. Should be a better experience overall, aside from the long walk to the D West gates (which are closer to Terminal C).
