Not sure where you are going, but for me the biggest problem with Hyatt (compared to Hilton/Marriott) has always been the number of properties to choose from. A better program isn’t helpful if I can’t stay where I want to be.
This has always been my problem with Hyatt is that outside the US as they just often aren't where I want to be or the limited options are much worse than other options. I mean look at their coverage in Spain (honestly Hilton isn't great there either) as compared to Marriott. My use of Hyatt has often be for lower end properties in the US where I could easily get 2 cents of value per point. I just transferred from UR as needed.
