Has anyone stayed recently who could comment on their experience, globalist benefits or amenities, upgrades, etc.?

Also, I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread, but does a concierge or similar staff member reach out via email ahead of the check-in date, or should I call the hotel if I have any special requests?
