When it comes to the MLL, website indicates that “you may invite family members (spouse and dependent children) and one guest at no charge when traveling on a same day AC flight.”

My interpretation is that my spouse, dependent children or guest do not need to be traveling with me and we could even be traveling to different destinations so long as we are flying on the same day.

Can anyone confirm this is the case?
