Would you recommend a printed PDF boarding pass rather than a mobile boarding pass which could risk being updated to downgrade the status on March 1st?
I suppose it can't hurt but I really don't think you need to worry about an AA BP being updated instantly to reflect a status downgrade on a OW carrier. You're giving their IT (and its ability to interact with BA IT) way too much credit.
