I was actually surprised to see that they had a "wake me for duty-free" option on the DND menu; I'm guessing the crew doesn't know about it, either??

I did make a side trek to the Starlux 7-Eleven near TSA while I was in town, where I was able to purchase the regular seatbelt lanyard. My flight out of TPE was on BR, so this was my only JX flight for the trip. I did search all over TPE looking for a store selling JX merchandise, but all I could find was a few shops with a surprisingly large selection of Cathay merchandise, which seemed a bit odd.
The peanuts keychains are still available when I bought the second seat belt key chain this month. I bought the peanut keychain last time as gifts, but to be honest for the price charged, I'd rather get the seat belt (I believe it's 6 dollars more expensive and all you get is two peanut themed fabric with a ring. You can also pre-order it on their duty free website. There are also some peanuts limited items that are only available online, but key chain was not one of them (you can buy it on board).

I don't think their FAs are properly trained. If they expect themselves to be called a boutique yet low key luxury, this service is not up to par. While everything else from amenities to hardware are pretty good, plus the new planes, the services on and off board leave a lot to be desired (and that's very important cause FAs and ground staff are whom the passengers interact the most and can turn things up side down even if it's just one clumsy mistake).
