Thank you very much for this interesting report on this lesser known part of Japan. As a European first time visitor of Japan (and Asia) I am writing this out of Kyoto, after spending time in Tokyo, Nagoya and before moving on to Osaka and only gradually adapting to this different but amazing part of the world.
