Everything you earn in calendar 2026 will count towards your 2027 status.

but it's my understanding that you earn to get 1,200 points in calendar 2026 if you wish to enjoy DM in 2027.

Said differently, the DM you're currently earning in Aug 2026 will be truncated and only valid through December 31, 2026.
