Only time my wife flew from BRU-AMS, the a/c sat due to ATC holdups for quite a long time. In the time it took for her flight to get to AMS, taxi to the Hilton (in town, not the AMS one), I took the train from BRU to Midi, Eurostar to Amsterdam Centraal, trammed to near the Hilton, and got there ~5-15 minutes after her. Delay must have been close to an hour.
That sounds like a fun "race".
Agreed that with somewhat over an hour I'm not sure you'd have much time for Lounge 52, considering you'll likely have to double back to the D pier where LHR is likely to depart from.
