Thanks all. Connection isn't too tight (somewhat over an hour, in theory). Just like to give us a little margin (and maybe lounge time though the non-Schengen is a bit far away) due to our experiences. Route is BRU-AMS-LHR on a E190 connecting to a E195-E2. Only time my wife flew from BRU-AMS, the a/c sat due to ATC holdups for quite a long time. In the time it took for her flight to get to AMS, taxi to the Hilton (in town, not the AMS one), I took the train from BRU to Midi, Eurostar (or rather, Thalys at the time) to Amsterdam Centraal, trammed to near than walked to the Hilton, and got there ~5-15 minutes after her. Delay must have been close to an hour.
