I think UA needs to allow those with united credit cards on business trips using company negotiated rates to be able to earn the higher mileage earnings even if they use a company credit card. This is the case at my company (where we cannot use personal cc). These would be for J class business trips. Weird that those elites should earn less miles. It has been mentioned many times in this thread. If you hold the appropriate United Credit card, you get the "extra" miles. You do not need to charge the trip on it.
So as a 1k holding a Quest card, I will earn 12x miles instead of 11, even when purchasing the trip on my Corporate Amex.
Of course, you will NOT earn the credit card "bonus" miles for putting the charge on the UA card, but that is the same as it has always been.
