I love the 757. Always have. But let's not forget it's strengths come with weaknesses. It is a gas guzzler on 90% of its missions vs the A321neo and even A321. I also think we are overstating it's takeoffs. Airlines almost always are using a flex takeoff setting which is influenced by weight and atmospheric conditions to save fuel.
