Without OP providing additional info re: TK’s exact reason for denied boarding, I could only speculate that this may not be a TK-specific issue. I’ve seen other airlines in SE.Asia (e.g. Thai, Garuda etc.) issue warnings when booking for others and the card holder is not traveling on the same booking that they may deny boarding if the physical credit card used at time of booking is not provided at time of check-in. .
