Is clearing security necessary when transiting through NRT on NW #17 on the way to HKG? (same flight number for the entire route: JFK-NRT-HKG, usually leaves from the same gate, most likely the same plane)?
For that matter of fact, if it is the same plane, will they allow us to leave our carry-on onboard for the 2 hour layover?
