Drink orders were taken on the ground and meal orders once airborne. I was in 5A on a 77W so no issues with meal choice.
I managed 2 drinks before the meal was served - a gin fizz special cocktail and a standard GnT.

The appetiser was fine and I enjoyed the gnocchi. The large mushrooms were especially flavoursome. I don’t normally take the vegetarian option, but happy with my choice on this occasion.

I had the torta for dessert and it was the most ho hum part of the meal. I didn’t even bother to take a picture.
The pre-landing snack was also ho hum, and also not photo worthy.

This was my first BA flight for some time, and I did find the portions for both meals to be smaller compared to other airlines.
All-in-all it was a relatively quick flight in a seat that I find very comfortable with service that was friendly and food that was satisfactory.
