Details look identical to the two transactions I made on 1/6 (except for the "passenger name" data; the word "TRAVEL BANK CA" appears after the name just like it did in my transaction), but they were not reimbursed. This suggests it's some update on the Amex side rather than a change made by UA that was the immediate cause of this. So I don't think UA made a change deliberately, and if UA wants to continue to get the TB revenue from Amex, it's up to UA to respond with a change of their own.
