It’s not entirely intuitive (you have to hit the back button to go back a page when it ask for ETA/visa details when checking in on your return segment) but entirely possible and quick to change your passport during online check-in with AC. Takes 30 seconds and doesn’t require intervention by AC staff.
yeah but more often than not, my first return flight is not on AC and the online check in is on that partner flight's web site ...
