I qualified for KB when they announced the program lat year. I emailed to clarify if activity in Jan, Feb and Mar this year may get rolled into the first year to provide a headstart to requalify. AirNZ confirmed the status points would reset so effectively be wasted.

I'm now QF platinum based on travel taken this year alone.
