Surprised at the big snow accumulations given the temperatures are supposed to not get all that low. Guess that means the snow will be falling pretty quickly. Unlike the last storm, when the temperatures were well below freezing for nearly two weeks, it seems like temperatures will be above freezing the next days thereafter, and the snow should melt quickly.
That is my take also; including predictions for thundersnow in parts of Jersey. Today I had to drive up to central Jersey (yes I know people in North & South Jersey will debate that 'central' Jersey does not exist...) around Princeton to give a speech and the sun came out and temps on the car thermometer hit 59f/15c and the black top highways were all melted finally post round one. Salt trucks and plows were up and down 95 staging. The morning looks like a fair amount of rain first now all along the mid-Atlantic. My high schoolers in Jersey already had school canx'd for Monday.
