Driving in Asia is much more hectic than the US (guessing your location based on your username). You have to be used to two wheeled vehicles and pedestrians all around you at any given moment, in between lanes and on road shoulders. Road regulations are controlled frequently by radar and camera, something you guys in the US don't have much of.
If you are confortable driving in southern France, Italy, etc.... then you are fine. But if you are used to just the USA, I would reconsider.
