Are the new build NEOs late? I know airbus has reduced their annual numbers, but that should mainly P&W customers, BA uses CFM on their NEOs, IIRC.
Maybe delays to the MAX are preventing A320s from Vueling cascading within the group, hence the A319s stay a little longer?
has the Vueling cascade been confirmed? Last I saw they planned a mixed fleet
