Where Ulti makes a real difference !
Flying US-CDG via ATL (DL then AF) with a 55 min connection in ATL. This was not my original routing, but I had to change my return date the day before and, all flights being super full, there were very very few options available knowing that I had some constraints for my possible departure time from the US station and my arrival time in CDG because of meetings on both ends. The TA did a good job finding the very few options available and managing the re-ticketing. In fact, there was only one option left via ATL, but it was at the price of flying in Y for the domestic DL leg instead of F, which I accepted as it was short flight so no big deal (being in J for the transatlantic was the most important). The TA got me the last seat available in Y but she couldn't assign any seat on DL. I looked afterwards in DL app and all the seats were either occupied or showing as "non available" (about 10 mostly at the back or middle of plane - it turned up that they were all occupied by deadheading crews going to ATL). ExpertFlyer was showing the flight as zeroed-out in all fare buckets, and it was likely overbooked already when the TA sold me the last seat.
A couples of hours later and before OLCI opened, one seat appeared magically in the 2nd half (back) of the plane and I selected it immediately. It was an A321, so a lot of people in those. I was concerned that, with only 55 min connection, it will take me forever to disembark, but there was nothing I can do and at least I secured a seat.
DL flight arrived from ATL 20 min late and left to ATL with the same delay. Even if I know that connections in ATL without immigration and security can be done super fast, it was not guaranteed at all, knowing that it would take me 15 min to get out of the plane. Just before taking off, I sent an email to the TA to inform them about the endangered connection, if they could do something. Upon landing and taxiing to gate, I had a reply from them saying that they informed their ATL colleagues and that they would do their best (but without guarantee of course). Upon disembarking, there was an AF agent waiting for me. They didn't sent the DL Porsche

, we did the normal way but she was in communication with the AF gate in F concourse to let them know that I was with her and that they keep the gate open. We arrived at the gate 2-3 min past the time they were supposed to close it. I was the last to board and they closed the door of the plane shortly after and we left on-time.
All good and, thanks to the great Starlink wifi on-board, I of couse sent immediately an email to the TA to let them know that everything went well and to thank them for their help.
