200kg is way way way over even F's limit. I think you'd be really lucky to get away with that lot, even if divided up into 5-6 bags.
For the less extreme overages, I've found carrying on easy in F and J, difficult anywhere else.
One well practised trick is: when told to check an overweight hand baggage item, tell them you'll repack and put the excess in to storage/give to a friend to take home. Any excuse that gets you away from the checkin with your bag without a note about it in your record. Then just carry it on anyway. In 95% of cases noone raises an eyebrow (especially in the US). In the 4% that remain, they may ask you to check it at the departure gate: and I've never seen a bag weighed there. In the 1 remaining %, you may get it weighed and charged excess baggage (or sent on a later flight).
