I need to exchange a couple of old paper international tickets for new tickets, but I have no experiences with ticketing at an airport (oh, how I long for the wonderful CTOs of yesteryear! ).

So, questions: Is it easier to get ticketing help at SJC or SFO (e.g., better agents, shorter lines, etc.)? Is there a less-busy or otherwise better time during the day, or a better day(s) of the week, to go? SJC would be closer for me, but SFO is quite doable as well. I'm just hoping to minimize the time in line and other agonies as much as possible.
