Review February 2026
This Hyatt Regency Bangkok airport is a bargain as a Category 2. You can book with points at 8k per night.
As a Globalist checked in at executive lounge. Upgraded by executive lounge concierge after asking nicely. My suite and bathroom were nice and seemed recently renovated.
Executive Lounge cocktail hour from 5pm to 8pm with full assortment of bottled beer, draft beer, wines and spirits. There was enough food for dinner but not gourmet. The biggest problem was they were running out of glassware. We held tightly to our wine glasses.
The Concierge also sent an assortment of 9 items of food and desserts and beer as a gift to our room.
Gym is massive like a health club and open 24 hours. The equipment was definitely not old or dated. There were a lot of weight machines including 2 universal machines with cables. I was the only person in the gym at 5am.
Mens locker room weirdly not opened until 6am. Steam room was closed for maintenance and heated jacuzzi was half filled with water and had a sign to contact staff.
There is a beautiful courtyard pool with a lively swim up pool bar.
Breakfast starts at 3 am and is an extensive buffet with western, thai and Chinese dishes including steamed sea bass, dumplings, pork satay, chicken with vegetables, etc. They will make eggs to order.
There are 3 restaurants at hotel including a Thai restaurant, a Japanese restaurant and a Chinese restaurant.
There is also a sports bar with food, and a piano bar. The quality of the singing was not great.
Shuttle to airport at least every 15 minutes around the clock or you can walk via a tunnel.
We arrived at 720 am, and 3 shuttle buses were ready. A driver immediately popped out and loaded our luggage. Once we were seated in the van, he drove us to the Korean Air checkin counter. I looked at my watch, and it was a total of 8 minutes from hotel to checkin area.
Hotel was crowded during my stay. I would anticipate this moving to a Category 3
