If it were a short flight, yes. But we're talking about a 13 hour flight here. That's two meals missed, if I'm not mistaken. And it's not like the passenger knew before hand that there'd be no food for them on the flight. I'd have thought BA would have considered a minimum of 5,000 Avios in this scenario, when in J you'd get 10,000 for the quality of your meal being poor.
