Rhodes was just beatiful. We hired a taxi driver for the day (cost us about 60 euro, but well worth it). We did some shopping, and he took us over to the other side of the Island to a resteraunt that he knew (there's also a popular tourist village there too). We ended up eating about 50 feet off the water while watching fishermen catch that night's dinner offerings - probably one of the best meals of our lives. The old town is really neat as well. We also got to see the site of the original Olymics there as well. We did manage to cram a lot into a single day.
