TK91 ICN-IST Q2 2025 23:20 departure B777

Photos from Q2 of 2025.

Service was good but nothing exceptional on this late night flight from ICN. The plane was packed to the gills with Korean tourists and I feel like the crew were under a bit of strain from the demands of the passengers (Korean tourists can be quite demanding, especially if they've paid a premium for a premium product).

Can't remember anything else of note regarding service, especially since everyone seemed to prioritize sleep on this flight (late night departure, early morning arrival). Drink refills were provided quickly and pleasantly. Requests for water later in the flight were also responded to quickly.

Soup was very good, mezze was good but nothing too extraordinary. I was considering asking for both apps but I had eaten way more food than expected at the ICN SQ lounge (wow one of the best lounge dining experiences Ive had, wished it were open for more than just the SQ departure times at ICN) so I went with the mezze as I asked if it had muhammara (which I love). Interestingly I actually think the muhammara that comes with the Y meals sometimes is better (this was still very good).

Red snapper. This was a bit of a letdown. Texture was alright, better than the salmon Ive had, but it was very salty. Still good and finished it no problem.

Delicious desserts as always. I am not a connoisseur but I think this may have been Natuur brand green tea ice cream which is an excellent brand.

Fruit was ripe and fresh, very good.

I am normally a savory breakfast person and don't like sweet breakfasts like pancakes or french toast, but "almond croissant pudding" intrigued me enough to give it a try. I was expecting to not finish it but wow it was amazing and I nearly licked the plate clean. It did not taste excessively sweet to me. The lower cabin pressure of the 777 compared to A350 or B787 played a role here too I think as I've noticed my tastebuds like sweet things more than usual at altitude.
