Per the Front Desk Manager, this is considered a third party reservation since it was a wholesale rate booked through a travel agency. Third party reservations are not eligible for World of Hyatt benefits, including tier night credits and points for spend.
Is this a permanent change? If so, I am seriously disappointed.
Update. I wrote to My Hyatt Concierge saying I was disappointed, that all stays to date had credited. I didn't challenge, I didn't argue, I only commented. Today, I got a note from her backup who said they had looked at it again and had given me a night credit.
