I think since the end of last year, PDB SOP has been open bar (including alcoholic beverages) rather than the tray of juices. That was my experiences on 4 seperate long haul segments back in Nov, although previously I’ve never had an issue of requesting champagne as a pdb. Further, on late night flights (without cart service), I’ve noticed that dining on demand has been encouraged (or at the very least happily agreed upon).
