I mistakenly bought this bag and am now very much regretting it. My experience is it only fits sideways (wheels to the side not back) in the BA A320 bins (not the newer Neo). Thus, taking up approximately double the space of the smaller Cabin size.
Am I doing something wrong? Any tips to make it fit are very welcome.
Strange. The bag fits in every model of A320 Family bin including the oldest style (i.e. BA's A319s, the older G-GAT* frames at LGW, perhaps some of the 321 ceos at LGW too?) albeit pretty snugly.
My main tip is to make sure the wheels are facing inwards when you push the bag in wheels first, so that the side of the bag is flush with the base of the locker. If the wheels are facing outwards, there is a possibility the rear of the bag will ride up slightly and the side of the bag will create an angle / incline vs the base of the locker. That means it will protrude over the lid of the locker and mean you can't close it.
Here's a photo of a Cabin Plus in a "second generation" A320 bin ... this is the bin that BA have on most A320s delivered from the early 2000s (the older ones have a more angular bin design).
