I booked a lagoon suite with plunge pool, and the last photo shows how housekeeping set up the sofa to sleep 2 young kids. The sofa is not a pullout sofabed, but we consider that a positive as the kids find this setup more comfortable. The lagoon rooms all seem renovated with the renovated plunge pool, which is fully heated to hot tub like temperature and even has a couple hot tub like jets. The pool is maybe 3 feet deep so perfect for children. Our suite also does not look onto a walkway so has a lot of privacy. The hard product is great, but the service is abysmal at the moment though I don't really fault the staff since they are simply working with what they are given, and my guess is they are severely understaffed.

We're all kind of piecing things together here, but is it possible the Lagoon Area Suite (with Plunge Pool) has the newer style in-ground pool shown in your photos when the unit is on the ground floor (i.e., on a terrace) and the upper-floor suites have an older Andaz-style plunge pool on a balcony? All of the new plunge pools I've seen depicted have been on ground floor terraces. The only photos I've seen of balcony unit pools have had smaller pools, which is what I recall from staying at Andaz.
