Connections are doable but tighter than I would like - about 2.5 hours. If I could expedite at all it would give at least one chance for a shower along the way (so we dont offend other travelers if nothing else :-) )

2.5 hours is doable; you will have access to the Flagship Lounge or any other OneWorld lounge in T3 for your shower.
